Several supporters are highlighted for their years of relationship building and generosity to ArtHeart.

Levi Strauss & Co (Canada) Inc. employees have contributed hours of volunteer time helping out ArtHeart. When Bob Hass, the great, great grand nephew of Mr. Levi Strauss, visited Toronto recently, Levi’s staff presented him with a painting (made on donated denim) by Alen, one of ArtHeart´s artists. The painting now adorns the Levi Strauss headquarters in San Francisco.

The owners and staff at Mimic Print and Media Co. have donated hours of time and printing resources for over 10 years to ArtHeart.

The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has opened up their studios and art camps to ArtHeart children for years, for free. This year, ArtHeart was also invited to make an installation comprised of 200 portraits which is publicly displayed at the AGO from August to October 2007.

ArtHeart´s participation with the Arts Open and the Nicholas Metivier Art Gallery has opened doors to new connections with renowned Canadian artists, art collectors and art gallery owners. The Arts Open recently held their very successful second annual golf tournament and live art auction in support of ArtHeart. They also commissioned (for the second year in a row) 150 lino-cut prints from ArtHeart’s children and youth participants. Our young artists earned over $6,600, collectively from the 2 years of commissions!
