Art Gets Us Through Covid-19

On March 13th, 2020, ArtHeart temporarily closed its studio in Regent Park due to COVID-19. The dedicated ArtHeart team has worked through the pandemic. We have remained connected online and by telephone with our program participants of all ages,
many of whom are vulnerable.
Please contact us if you would like to be emailed a virtual kit this week, or find out when to pick up an art activity kit curbside,
or just need to hear a kind voice!
Please stay safe and healthy!
Watch our social media or call (416) 203-0034 for updates.
Free Weekly Art Activity Kits
Children & Families, Seniors & Adults, Elders
Each week, our Youth Employment Program students assemble free art activity kits for ArtHeart participants- seniors, adults, families and Council Fire Native Cultural Centre. They are distributed curbside, outside of the ArtHeart studio. In 2020, staff and volunteers gave out over 2,500 Art Activity Kits.
Email or call us today for more information or to pick-up an art kit this week.

Mask-Making Mondays
Keeping Our Community Safe
In order to promote the safety of our staff and participants, we started mask-making Mondays with a small group of participants who are seamstresses in the ArtHeart studio. Masks are then distributed to our participants.
Wellness Checks
Staying Connected
The dedicated ArtHeart team has worked through the pandemic. We have remained connected online and by telephone with our program participants of all ages, many of whom are vulnerable.
Through our wellness checks, we ensure that our participants are not alone in the fight against Covid-19. These telephone calls and emails provide wellness by safeguarding participants from the impact of being isolated.
