ArtHeart celebrates 35 Years of Community Arts: Support our Mobile Arts Program Today!

ArtHeart celebrates more than 35 years of community arts in Regent Park! Last year, we successfully launched a new project: Mobile Arts Programs. We need your support to continue providing these free art classes through 2026!
From children discovering the joy of painting for the first time, to isolated seniors reconnecting through creative expression, and families participating together in community workshops, ArtHeart’s Mobile Arts Programs provide safe, inclusive, accessible spaces for all.

Today, your support will ensure that ArtHeart can provide free Mobile Arts Programs to our talented participants, many of whom are the most vulnerable residents of Regent Park.

Celebrating 35 Years of Community-Engaged Arts!
At ArtHeart, our mission is to build self-esteem and self-reliance for children, youth, adults and families in the Regent Park community by providing free community visual arts education, programs, materials and nourishment in an open, safe, warm, supportive environment.

This year, ArtHeart celebrates 35 years of community-engaged arts in Regent Park
What began as a grassroots initiative in 1991 has blossomed into a cornerstone of creativity and inclusion for children, youth, adults & seniors in Regent Park. We’re proud to have engaged with three generations of residents in this dynamic neighbourhood, and we continue to play a key role in its cultural fabric.
Looking back, our impact over 35 years has been:
• 250,000 visits from participants of our Children and Youth Arts Program
• 90,000 visits from participants of our Adults & Seniors Arts Program
• 400 youth have participated and graduated from our Youth Employment Program
• 340,000 meals and snacks have been served through our “No Starving Artists
Program” to children, youth adults and seniors
• 16,000 free art workshops
• 3500 volunteers
You are invited to Sprung Art Exhibition on Wednesday June 3rd 2026, at 6 pm.
Bring your friends and neighbours and lets celebrate art and community
